Doloc Town drone parts fall into five practical groups: Frame, Weapon, Engine, Support or Gadget, and Chip. Mody's shop at Doloc Port is the documented place for frames and parts, while some weapons are also reported from enemies or chests. Exact prices, stock progression and drop rates are to be confirmed in version 1.0.
Separate the five part types
The Frame is the base that determines which equipment categories are available. Weapons provide the attack, Engines affect the operating build, Support or Gadget parts add another function, and Chips modify stats. Treating every object as a generic upgrade is the main reason a valid part appears impossible to equip.
Read the slot label on the active frame before comparing stats. A part can be useful and still be incompatible with that frame. The collected evidence supports the category structure but not a complete catalog of every 1.0 item.
Check slot requirements before buying
The documented Abandoned Drone includes Weapon, Engine, Support and Chip slots, which demonstrates that frames can expose several categories. Other frames may differ, so do not assume that a part shown in a guide fits the one currently equipped. Verify the frame screen first.
This check is especially important for Chips and Support parts. Their names can sound like general upgrades even though they require a specific slot. A current UI screenshot is stronger evidence than an old price or build list.
Find Mody's drone shop
The community shop record places Mody at Doloc Port on the right bank, to the right of the elevator. The recorded opening hours are 10:00-20:00. If the shop is closed or missing, check the in-game clock and relevant progression.
Shop inventory may expand with story or faction progress, but the supplied evidence does not provide a complete unlock table. Do not invent a day or reputation threshold for a missing part. Use the visible current stock and mark unavailable items for later verification.
Distinguish shops, enemies and chests
Some weapons are reported as purchases, enemy drops or chest rewards. These are different acquisition states and should remain separate in any future database. A single player finding does not establish a guaranteed farm.
The source pack includes the Speedy Launcher as a documented weapon example and community discussion of engines and support parts. It does not include verified percentages. All drop-rate claims remain to be confirmed until logged in version 1.0.
Compare parts without false precision
Compare compatible parts by the task they perform, the displayed stats and their effect on battery use. Auto-fire accuracy matters differently from manual close-range play. A raw damage label cannot represent the whole build.
Do not rank a shop part against an unavailable drop without controlling access and test conditions. The useful first database is a sourced category and location list. A tier list should come only after repeatable tests.
Sources and evidence status
Categories and shop placement are cross-checked through community drone-shop and weapon entries, two player discussions and gameplay footage at 04:18-04:39 and 14:03-14:22. These sources are used for claims, not for republishing their images. Research was checked on August 11, 2026.
The next update needs original shop, slot and acquisition captures from version 1.0. That work can confirm stock, prices and drop sources. Until then, the directory is source-backed for structure and deliberately incomplete for numerical availability.
