Pots, Teapots and Ovens handle different recipe families, while the Pickling Jar, Drying Box and Grinder process ingredients rather than acting like ordinary cookware. Fixed recipes are reported to enter the cooking record after the first successful result, but exact 1.0 quantities and processing times remain to be confirmed.
Version note: the broad cooking structure is supported by several sources, but the largest published recipe table was made for v0.92.34. This page therefore explains verified workflows and does not republish old prices, timers or a supposedly complete 1.0 recipe count.
How cooking works
Start by identifying whether the result is a cooked dish or a processed ingredient. A fixed recipe expects a known combination at the correct station, while flexible cooking can accept a broader set of ingredients and produce a variable result. Putting the right materials into the wrong device is therefore not proof that the recipe was removed.
Community discussion reports that a fixed recipe appears in the cooking interface after the first successful attempt. This makes one controlled test more useful than repeatedly adding extra ingredients. The exact discovery behavior in every large station is still to be confirmed in the English 1.0 client.
Choose the correct cooking station
The source pack distinguishes Pot, Teapot and Oven recipes, together with larger versions of those stations. A larger station may allow more ingredients, but it should not be assumed to convert every Pot recipe into an Oven recipe. Check the station family first, then the ingredient order shown by the current interface.
Keep one copy of each station near ingredient storage so tests are quick and repeatable. Record the exact item name after a successful attempt because community translations and older English tables can use different wording. If a recipe works only in a larger station, mark that condition rather than presenting it as universal.
Keep processing machines out of the recipe table
The Grinder, Pickling Jar and Drying Box belong to production chains. Candied Wax Apple is consistently associated with the Pickling Jar, while current community notes describe Milk becoming Cheese through a drying process. These outputs can later become cooking ingredients, but the first transformation is not a Pot, Teapot or Oven recipe.
Separating the two systems prevents common errors. If the player searches only the cooking menu for Candied Wax Apple or Cheese, the expected entry may never appear because the required action happens at a machine. Processing times for those items are version-sensitive and remain to be confirmed unless the page says otherwise.
Where recipe unlocks come from
The collected guides describe recipe and blueprint unlocks coming from progression, research, faction exchanges and successful experimentation. No single source in the pack proves that every 1.0 recipe comes from one menu or vendor. When a dish is absent, check current quests and research before assuming that the ingredients are wrong.
Treat old recipe directories as discovery lists, not as a current database. A useful verification pass records the station, ingredients, unlock source and result in the same 1.0 save. Until that pass is complete, this site marks missing unlock conditions to be confirmed rather than inventing a shop or character requirement.
Why a recipe fails
First confirm the station, then remove optional ingredients and retry the smallest sourced combination. Next check whether the recipe or device is unlocked in the current save. Finally compare the exact English item names, because similarly translated ingredients can refer to different items.
Do not rely on an old sell price or cook timer as proof that a recipe still exists. Those values changed during Early Access and have not been fully retested for this source pack. A failed attempt should be documented with the game version and station instead of being converted into a new unsupported recipe.
