The Treaty Port is Doloc Town's trade and research hub. It is where the game's item exchanges live: Paiea's Private Exchange that repairs the Hovercraft, and research trades such as Freshwater Fish Research, which accepts one Golden Fish. The port unlocks in the mid-progression window — the beginner route lists it alongside fast travel as a system that opens once early quest lines advance.

When the Treaty Port opens

The collected walkthrough places the Treaty Port in the early-mid unlock chain, together with the drone system and fast travel, after the first quest lines are established. The source pack does not verify an exact day count or a named prerequisite quest, so this page treats progression state — not a calendar day — as the trigger.

If the port is not on your map yet, keep advancing the main task lines. Returning to hunt for a building that has not spawned wastes more time than the quests that unlock it.

Paiea's Private Exchange and the Hovercraft trade

The best documented trade at the port is Paiea's Private Exchange. It asks for raw Wax Apples, Candied Wax Apples and a Rusty Key, and completing it repairs the Hovercraft that opens the Wetlands route. That makes the port a progression gate, not just a shop: the Axolotl Trail walkthrough and the Wetlands guide both route through this exchange.

Prepare the trade stack before travelling so the exchange can be completed in one visit. The Candied Wax Apple guide covers the processing step for the candied portion of the requirement.

Research trades: Golden Fish and beyond

The second documented exchange family is research. The clearest example is Freshwater Fish Research, which uses one Golden Fish — the fish caught at the deer statue pond described in the Golden Fish location guide. Research trades turn rare finds into progression rather than profit, so keep first catches until you have checked the port's research board.

The full trade list, stock rotation and reward values are to be confirmed in the 1.0 client. This page intentionally does not reproduce an old trade table, because prices and offerings changed between Early Access and 1.0.

Practical port habits

Check the exchange board on every visit and record what it asks for, then work backwards into your farm plan. The port converts crop and fish surpluses into progression, so the cheapest mistake is selling an item that a later exchange wants.

Keep one copy of any rare item — the Golden Fish, processed goods, unusual trash finds — until its research or exchange use is confirmed in your current version.

Sources and evidence status

The port's unlock window comes from the beginner walkthrough chain; the Paiea exchange and its item list from the Axolotl Trail material; Freshwater Fish Research from the Treaty Port research notes. Reward values and the full trade list remain unverified. Research was last checked on September 5, 2026.
